Genshin Impact Nahida Build — Best Weapons, Artifacts, and Teams
The newest character is both powerful and flexible.

She can play as either a Support character or damage-dealer, making her a great addition to any team.

Check out our guide on how to best equip Nahida to get the best from her in Genshin Impact.

Best Weapons for Nahida in Genshin Impact Nahida

Her standard attacks aren’t particularly powerful, but she has the skill to trigger reactions with other elements.

While her Elemental Burst doesn’t do damage, it has a huge area of effect, and costs almost no energy.

It also boosts her party members’ Elemental Mastery and provides special reactions.

This power is increased by her Critical Hit Rate and Critical Damage, making her an easy character to equip.

A Thousand Floating Dreams is the best weapon for Nahina. It’s a five-star catalyst that comes with additional Elemental Mastery.

The magic lamp gives its wearer certain bonuses, including more Elemental Mastery or Elemental Damage, depending on your team composition.

It also increases the Elemental Mastery of all allies, making it the best choice for Nahida no matter what role she’s in.

Alternative weapons for Nahida as Support are:

  • Wandering Evenstar (four-star catalyst) – increases Elemental Mastery, and increases Attack based on Elemental Mastery.
  • Sacrificial Fragments (four-star catalyst) – increases Elemental Mastery, and skips ability cooldowns.
  • Magic Guide (three-star catalyst) – increases Elemental Mastery, and increases damage to enemies suffering from Hydro or Electro effects. It is also a readily available free-to-play option.
  • Mappa Mare (four-star catalyst) – increases Elemental Mastery and Elemental Damage.

Alternative weapons for Nahida as DPS are:

  • Kagura’s Verity (five-star catalyst) – increases Critical Damage and Elemental Damage.
  • The Widsith (four-star catalyst) – increases Critical Damage, and randomly increases Attack, Elemental Mastery, or Elemental Damage.

Best Artifacts for Nahida in Genshin Impact

As Nahida relies on her Dendro reactions, Deepwood Memories is an excellent choice for artifacts.

Two pieces increase the damage of Dendro reactions by 15%, and the full set reduces the Dendro Resistance of targets.

Alternatively, Gilded Dreams provides a strong boost to Elemental Mastery which is vital for Nahida.

While you should aim for a full set of Deepwood Memories, a set of Gilded Dreams with better sub stats is a viable option.

This is how your sub stats should ideally look like:

  • Plume: Attack (main stat), Elemental Mastery, Attack %, Critical Hit Rate, Critical Damage (sub stats).
  • Flower: HP (main stat), Elemental Mastery, Attack %, Critical Hit Rate, Critical Damage (sub stats).
  • Sands: Elemental Mastery (main stat), Energy Recharge, Attack %, Critical Hit Rate, Critical Damage (sub stats).
  • Goblet: Elemental Mastery (Support) or Dendro Damage % (DPS) (main stat), Energy Recharge, Attack %, Critical Hit Rate, Critical Damage (sub stats).
  • Circlet: Elemental Mastery (Support) or Critical Damage (DPS) (main stat), Energy Recharge, Attack %, Critical Hit Rate, Critical Damage (sub stats).

If you’re opting for a DPS build, make sure your Goblet and Circlet feature Elemental Mastery instead of Energy Recharge as sub stats.

Best teams for Nahida in Genshin Impact Nahida

Dendro characters work best with Hydro or Electro characters to create powerful elemental reactions.

This teams uses Nahida as a Support character:

  • Cyno (Main DPS), Dendro Traveler (Sub DPS), Nahida (Support), Kokomi (Support).

In this set Nahida will appear on the field briefly to activate her Special Ability and Elemental Burst.

When combined with another Dendro character, resulting reactions will be more powerful due to the Elemental Mastery boost.

Kokomi will take care of Healing and Bloom, while Cyno will stay on the field. His Electro attacks will produce massive reactions all over the field.

Cyno can be replaced by Kamisato Ayato, Nilou or Keqing. However, if you switch to the first two, you should replace Kokomi with Dori or Kuki Shinobu.

If Nahida is in the role of Main DPS, then follow this set.

  • Nahida (Main DPS), Yelan (Sub DPS), Dendro Traveler (Sub DPS), Kuki Shinobu (Support).

The Dendro pair works well, and Yelan (or Xingqiu) can trigger powerful reactions.

Alternatives include using Kokomi as Support and replacing Kuki Shinobu with Raiden Shogun, Fischl, or Yae Miko.

If you are using Nahida and Nilou together, you should bring two healers. This is because Nilou will damage your own team members.

Barbara and Kokomi can work together to create effective support for this team.
