MATT Hancock will host a No10 press conference alongside Professor Chris Whitty and Stephen Powis of the NHS tonight.
The Health Secretary will address the nation tonight with an update on the coronavirus pandemic, the vaccine rollout, and mass testing.
It comes after Britain became the first country in the world to start dishing out a coronavirus jab this week.
Thousands of people are expected to have started their vaccinations – and will have to come back for a follow-up dose in 21 days.
The Health Secretary may reveal how many people have had it so far – and how many are expected by the end of the year.
The Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine is said to be ready to be approved for use too in the coming days.
Mr Hancock will also update the nation on the latest coronavirus figures.
Following the national lockdown the case numbers were slashed dramatically.
But this week both he and Boris Johnson have warned that cases have continued to rise in some areas – including London.
There are fears the capital could go into Tier 3 as early as next week – when the review of the new Tiers system is expected.
Most of the country is now in Tier 2 or 3 – which means no household mixing indoors, and limits on restaurants and pubs.
The Government has vowed to look again at the Tiers – and which places they fall into – by December 16th.
