James Cleverly's Political Career

Prior to that, he served as the Education Secretary for three months and as the Minister of State for Europe and North America in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. He has also held positions as chairman of the Conservative party and as parliamentary under-secretary for Exiting the European Union. Cleverly first became an MP in 2015.
