Xbox Game Pass Price Increase and Lineup Disappointment
Xbox, once known for its budget-friendly gaming options, has left fans disappointed with recent changes. The Xbox Series S, one of the cheapest modern consoles, used to offer excellent value with Xbox Game Pass. However, a recent price increase and lineup changes have shifted perceptions.
New Game Pass Lineup Revealed
Following the price increase, Xbox announced a new Game Pass lineup that included three games as day-one releases, excluding the Standard tier from accessing any games. Fans were hoping for a robust lineup in August, especially with rising console prices in Japan, but the first half of the month will only see three new additions.
The upcoming games include Creatures of Ava, Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, and Mafia: Definitive Edition, with release dates in early August. Despite the disappointment among fans, there is a glimmer of hope for the future.
Clue for Future Game Pass Additions
With the acquisition of Activision Blizzard last year, players have been anticipating more games from the publisher to join Game Pass. While only a few titles have been added so far, the recent inclusion of Crash Bandicoot has sparked hope among fans for future releases, especially with the upcoming launch of Call of Duty on the service.
