XBOX Game Pass Faces Competition as PlayStation Steps Up Its Game

An Unexpected Addition to PS Plus

PlayStation has made a surprising move by adding new games to its subscription service. Foamstars, an upcoming multiplayer foamy shooter, will be available on PS Plus as soon as it is released. This is a departure from PlayStation's previous policy of not offering new games on the service.

An Early Release Date

What's even more exciting is that Foamstars will be launching earlier than anticipated. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, February 6, 2024, when the game will be available on all tiers of PS Plus, including Essential.

Grab It While You Can

Players will have a limited time to grab Foamstars on PS Plus. The game will be available until Monday, March 4, 2024, after which it will be removed from the service. However, if you redeem it within this month, it will remain in your library as long as you are a subscriber.

Available for Purchase Separately

For those who are not subscribed to PS Plus, Foamstars can still be purchased separately for $29.99 (approx. £24.99).

Exciting Content and Modes

Square Enix, the developer of Foamstars, has planned free seasonal content for the game. Additionally, a Season Pass will be available for purchase separately. The game offers various modes, some of which require an online subscription, while others can be played in single-player or team-based missions. Get ready for modes like Smash the Star, Happy Bath Survival, and Rubber Duck Party.
