The annual Console wars have come to a close, and the winners have been crowned at The Game Awards 2023. While debates over which gaming console is the best have raged on, it seems that all three major players – Nintendo, Xbox, and PlayStation – have emerged victorious.
Nintendo steals the show with three awards
Nintendo had an impressive night, taking home three awards at The Game Awards. Pikmin 4 won Best Strategy Game, Super Mario Bros. Wonder was voted Best Family Game, and Tears of the Kingdom was awarded Best Action/Adventure Game.

Resident Evil 8 won Best VR game, Tchia won Games for Impact, and Final Fantasy 16 won Best Score. Final Fantasy Rebirth was recognized as the Most Anticipated Game, and The Last of Us was crowned the Best Adaptation.
Alan Wake 2 and Baldur's Gate 3 steal the spotlight
