Nintendo launches discount offer with cash back for players
Nintendo has rolled out a new offer that not only slashes prices on popular games but also rewards players with extra cash back. The deal applies to all of Nintendo's first-party games, including iconic series like The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario, Metroid, Pikmin, Pokémon, and Kirby.
How to save over £50 on Nintendo games
To take advantage of this offer, players must be subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online. However, it is open to all members, including those on the basic tier. By purchasing Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers in pairs for £84/$99, players can redeem them for games that typically cost up to £120/$140. Titles like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are among the pricier options on the list, while games like Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and Pikmin 4 also see discounts with the vouchers.
Extra cashback offer until 2024
Until July 14, 2024, players in certain regions can enjoy four times the usual cashback on their voucher purchases. This means not only saving on game purchases but also earning extra funds for future Nintendo Switch games. The cashback can be used on all games in the Nintendo Switch library, not just first-party titles.
Get four times the Gold Points during the offer period
Typically, Nintendo offers 1 Gold Point for every £2/$2 spent, which translates to 1p/1c cashback. However, during this promotion, players will receive four times the points, amounting to £16.80 in Nintendo eShop credit. It's important to note that while vouchers can be purchased in most countries, the extra Gold Points are currently unavailable in North America. Players in this region may want to hold off on the deal to potentially qualify for a $20 cashback instead.
