Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3: Six Biggest Changes

Fortnite's Biggest Collaboration Yet

Rumours, teases, and leaks have finally culminated in the release of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3. Servers are back online, and players can now explore the changes for themselves. One of the most ambitious collaborations in Fortnite history has been unveiled.

What's in the Battle Pass?

The new Battle Pass, named Wrecked, focuses on the Wasteland Warriors and their collaborations with Mad Max: Furiosa and Fallout. Players can expect new outfits for the Wasteland Warriors and other characters like Rust. The Pass includes themed skins such as the T-60 Power Armour from Fallout's Brotherhood of Steel, Ringmaster Scarr, Peabody, and more.

New Biome: The Wasteland

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 introduces the Wasteland biome to the south of the island. Inspired by Mad Max, this area features locations like Redline Rig, Nitrodome, and Brutal Beachhead. Players can face Wasteland Warriors in these areas and earn rewards like mythic weapons and vehicles.

New Weapons and Items

Wrecked brings a variety of new weapons and items to the game, along with unvaulting popular ones. Players can now wield Nitro Fists, Boom Bolt crossbows, Nuka-Cola for health restoration, and more. Vehicle mods have also been unvaulted for this season.

The Power of Nitro

Nitro in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 comes in two forms: Nitro Splash and Nitro Barrels. These provide boosts to vehicles and players, enhancing speed, power, and various abilities. Nitro can be used strategically for a competitive edge in the game.

New Vehicle Mods

Vehicle mods return in this season, allowing players to customize their vehicles akin to Mad Max. Unvaulted mods like Cow Catchers and Chonkers Off-Road Tires make a comeback, alongside new additions such as Machine Gun Turret and Spiked Bumper. Vehicle Mod Boxes can be found scattered throughout the world.

Introducing the War Bus

A new addition to Fortnite v30.00, the War Bus is a key objective in the Wasteland. Players can hijack these buses to access player-controlled cannons and EMP Pulse abilities. These buses add an exciting twist to the gameplay dynamics of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3.
