Fortnite fans are buzzing with excitement as world-famous rapper Eminem is set to make his appearance in the battle royale game.
Biggest event of all time
While Fortnite has hosted live events with celebrities in the past, this upcoming event is shaping up to be one of the biggest yet.
Eminem will play a pivotal role in the Big Bang event.
Eminem will be performing a concert exclusively for Fortnite players to celebrate the Big Bang event, which will conclude Chapter 4 Season 5.
New outfits to get in the mood
Although the Big Bang event is scheduled for Saturday, December 2, 2023, players can get into the spirit early by acquiring some fresh outfits.
In the lead-up to Eminem's concert, Fortnite will be releasing three new themed skins.
The first skin is called "Rap Boy" and is inspired by Eminem's Robin-style outfit from the "Without Me" music video. It includes an eye mask, green sweatpants, and a black and red jacket with an 'E' emblem reminiscent of Robin's 'R' logo.
The second outfit, named "Slim Shady," pays homage to Eminem's previous rap persona. It features his iconic bleach-blonde hair, a navy jacket and sweatpants, and a t-shirt inspired by the Kinky shirt he used to wear.
The "Marshall Never More" skin is based on Eminem's current appearance, with brown hair and a 1950s-style suit.
The event will also introduce additional items such as back blings and emotes.
Release date and pricing
While no official announcements have been made, leaks suggest that players will be able to purchase these Eminem-themed items on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, before the event.
The drop is expected to launch on the item store at 7pm ET, which corresponds to midnight UK time.
The exact price of these limited-time skins is yet to be confirmed, but they are likely to be more expensive than standard outfits. Our estimate is that each skin will cost between 1500 and 2500 V-Bucks or approximately £20.
