Taskmaster VR: Step into the Hilarious World of the Popular Panel Show

Taskmaster, the beloved UK show known for its embarrassing challenges, is about to get even more interactive. Fans of the show have often wondered how they would fare in the outrageous tasks, and now they'll have the chance to find out in a virtual reality (VR) game.

An Immersive Experience

Developed in collaboration with the show's creators, Alex Horne and Greg Davies, the Taskmaster VR game will feature their voices and likenesses. Just like the TV show, they will be there every step of the way, judging your every move.

As a player, you'll assume the role of a contestant on the show and participate in a series of quirky and offbeat challenges, all from a first-person perspective. From collecting eggs in a bucket to smashing watermelons, taking a bath, and making a sandwich, the game promises to capture the essence of Taskmaster's hilarity.

A Perfect Fit for VR

Niall Taylor, Head of Games, believes that the world of Taskmaster is a natural fit for virtual reality. By combining the comedic genius of the show with the immersive nature of VR, players can expect a slightly mad, yet thoroughly entertaining experience.

Alex Horne, one of the show's creators, shares his excitement about the VR adaptation. As a VR user, he's thrilled to finally have the opportunity to be a contestant on Taskmaster. However, he acknowledges the virtual version of himself watching and critiquing his every attempt, which may lead to some regret.

Coming Soon to VR Platforms

Taskmaster VR will be available to play on Meta Quest 2 or 3 in 2024. So, if you've ever wanted to step into the shoes of a Taskmaster contestant and take on the outrageous challenges yourself, this is your chance.
