A talented DJ and music producer, Danny Stubbs, known for his work with British legend Paul Oakenfold and featuring on BBC radio, has tragically passed away after a year-long battle with a rare form of cancer.

A Tragic Loss

Danny Stubbs, a father, husband, and respected figure in the music industry, was diagnosed with a rare Stage 4 oesophageal adenocarcinoma in August 2023. Despite his courageous fight, the cancer was deemed inoperable and had spread to his lymph nodes and bones in his spine, leading to his untimely passing.

A Legacy in Music

Danny Stubbs began his career DJing in clubs in Hanley in the early 2000s and went on to achieve international success with residencies at Gatecrasher and performances at Ministry of Sound. He collaborated with renowned artists such as U2 and Ariana Grande, in addition to his work with Paul Oakenfold.
