BEING one of the main world leaders, especially in turbulent times like these, is very difficult, and Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki surely knows about it.
However, when he goes home, he can find the refuge of his family and his wife Iwona Morawiecka to comfort him.
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and his wife Iwona Morawiecka were childhood friends
Who is Mateusz Morawiecki’s wife Iwona Morawiecka?
Iwona Morawiecka is a great supporter of her husband Mateusz, who she’s known for a very long time.
She keeps her life very private and barely ever appears in the spotlight.
However, whenever her husband is campaigning during an election or at another important event, she is always present to show her support.
Being Prime Minister requires a lot of time away from home, and Iwona does feel the void of her husband.
However, she understands the importance of the job and supports him in the best way she can.
According to the couple’s friends, Iwona spends most of the time taking care of things around the house such as driving the children to school.
She also deals with real estate rent and management.
How many children do Mateusz Morawiecki and Iwona Morawiecka have?
Together they’ve built a family with four children.
First they had Aleksandra who completed her studies in finance and management in the Warsaw School of Economics.
Then comes Jeremiah, who studied international economic relations at the London School of Economics, away from home.
They also have two young children – seven year old Ignacy and Magdalena who’s just a year younger.
When did they get married?
Mateusz and Iwona met in elementary school and got married just after the Polish PM graduated from college in 1991.
Most of their friends say that they have a great marriage and they’re not the type of people to annoy or do something to hurt someone.
Together they live in a 300-meter villa in one of the most luxurious districts in Warsaw.
Their estate is reported by Polish News to cost PLN 40 million – estimated to be around £7.5million.
The land they own includes five apartments, three houses and some more land which was divided between the both of them in December 2013.
