Who is Allegra Stratton’s husband James Forsyth?

James Forsyth is a British political journalist and Political Editor of The Spectator magazine.

He was born in London in 1981 and went on to study at Winchester College as well as Jesus College at the University of Cambridge.

After kickstarting his journalism career, he joined the Foreign Policy magazine as assistant editor.

He launched The Spectator’s political blog in 2007 and was appointed deputy editor of the weekly magazine the following year.

Forsyth was then made Political Editor of The Spectator in 2009.

He is also an advisory board member of the ResPublica think tank in Westminster and a weekly columnist for The Times, Trending In The News and formerly the Mail on Sunday.

It describes itself as a multi-disciplinary, non-party political research organisation, whose aim is to create bold solutions to enduring social and economic problems.

When did they get married?

Forsyth married British political aide, writer, and former journalist Allegra Stratton, 41, in 2011.

The high-flying media couple are close pals with many politicians, including Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak.

Sunak was even the best man at their nuptials 10 years ago.

Stratton is also said to be an ally and friend of Boris Johnson‘s wife, Carrie Symonds.

How many children do Allegra Stratton and James Forsyth have?

Stratton and Forsyth have young two children named Vaughn and Xanthe.

The family live in Canonbury, North London.

Sunak is godparent to both of their children, as the couple are for the North Yorkshire MP’s two children who he shares with his wife Akshata Murthy.
