TORY leadership hopefuls have vowed to be tougher than ever on China as the contest to be the next PM heats up.

Leadership contenders vying for MP votes desperately want to prove their anti-Chinese Communist Party credentials.

Influential China hawks in the party have grown frustrated that Britain is way too close to the CCP and rely on them economically.

China poses a huge security risk to Britain and this year a spy from the country even managed to infiltrate parliament.

Hawks also say a horrific genocide of the minority Uyghur population is taking place in the Xinjiang province. Human rights group have confirmed this too.

Influential MPs including former Tory leader Sir Iain Duncan Smith want leadership contenders to admit a genocide is happening and take a stand against CCP bullies trying to cover it up.

Liz Truss is confirmed to privately believes a genocide is happening in China.  

Trending In The News understands she told a leadership hustings hosted by the influential Brexiteer European Research Group on Tuesday night that she would recognise the genocide publicly if made PM.

Tom Tugendhat has also confirmed he thinks China is guilty of genocide.

He’s vowed to ban all cotton products made in Xinjiang from being imported into the UK and will stop scary surveillance companies used to spy on Uyghur prisoners from being used here too.

Inspirational Uyghur campaigner Rahima Mahmut said all Tory leadership candidates must recognise what is happening to her people.

She told Trending In The News: “Every candidate should commit to recognise what is happening to our people – a genocide. It is the bare minimum owed to us, and would have happened a long time ago if it hadn’t been blocked.”

Demonstrating his anti-CCP credentials, Nadhim Zahawi said he would put an end to all government departments sending aid to China.

He told Trending In The News: “I will not stand idly by while China puts the Uighurs into camps and attempts to spread state-sponsored propaganda in our universities.

“I’m proud to have clamped down on Chinese state influence in the British education system while at the Department for Education. I would go further as Prime Minister and end all aid to China.”
