Joicey transitioned from journalism to become a private secretary and speech writer for Gordon Brown before taking on various roles in government departments.

Family Life

Rachel Reeves and Nicholas Joicey share two children, Anna and Harold. Reeves announced her first pregnancy in 2012, welcoming daughter Anna. They later expanded their family with the birth of son Harold in 2015.
