SIR Keir Starmer insists he has never flouted Covid laws – but today Trending In The News shows him happily mask-free indoors at the height of lockdown.

Strict pandemic regulations were in place at the time – including the wearing of face masks unless eating or drinking.
Masks at the time were to be worn entering or exiting any venue and while going to the toilet.

“No mask at any time; no drink, no food; and not even any use of the hand sanitiser provided.
“We watched as he came in with an aide and simply stood chatting. I was gobsmacked.
“He had a TV camera crew following him but they remained outside.”
Sir Keir’s spokesperson declined to comment.
