Rishi Sunak warns glorifying Hamas terrorists in UK can result in 14-year jail term after arrests at pro-Palestine march

Glorifying baby-slaughtering Hamas terrorists could land Brits in prison for 14 years, Rishi Sunak warned today.

Crackdown on Pro-Palestine Activists

The UK government is taking a tough stance on individuals who glorify Hamas terrorists, with Chancellor Rishi Sunak warning that such actions can result in a 14-year jail term. Speaking at a North London secondary school, Sunak expressed his commitment to protecting Britain's Jewish community from pro-Palestinian activists who sympathize with rapists and killers.

Paraglider Symbol Controversy

Recent protests in support of Palestine saw participants attaching pictures of paragliders to their clothes, a symbol that glorifies the Hamas terrorists responsible for a brutal attack on Israeli villages. During the attack, innocent women and children were taken hostage while babies were mercilessly slaughtered. Sunak addressed students at the Jewish school, emphasizing that the support and glorification of Hamas is illegal and punishable by up to 14 years in jail.

No Tolerance for Violence and Hatred

Mr. Sunak stressed that actions inciting violence, as well as stirring up religious and racial hatred, are not acceptable in society. He stated that there is no place for such hatred and division, and those who engage in such activities will face the full force of the law.

Protecting the Jewish Community

In light of a shocking 300% increase in anti-Semitic incidents in the UK since Hamas launched its terror attack on Israel, the government has taken steps to ensure the safety of the Jewish community. The Community Security Trust (CST), a Jewish community security organization, reported at least 190 anti-Jewish racist attacks since October 7. To address this alarming trend, the Prime Minister recently allocated an additional £3 million in funding to the CST.

Consular and Humanitarian Support

Amidst the ongoing conflict, Sunak assured families impacted by the situation that the government is providing consular support through the Foreign Office. Additionally, the UK is offering direct support to Israel and working to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in the region. The government is even considering deploying Royal Navy assets to provide further assistance on the ground.

The government's firm stance against glorifying Hamas terrorists reflects its commitment to safeguarding the Jewish community and maintaining social harmony in the UK.
