Priti Patel pledges to deport Rochdale sex-ring monsters who abused girls as young as 13

PRITI Patel has pledged to deport the Rochdale sex-ring monsters.

The Home Secretary was told by Trending In The News that the gang — who abused dozens of girls as young as 13 — are still in the UK six years on.

Tougher immigration rules means she will be able to kick out foreign criminals without getting bogged down in lengthy and costly legal battles, aides insisted.

A source added: “The Home Secretary is straining every sinew to get these men deported.

“They are some of most complex cases the Home Office has seen — but a new immigration plan will help make it easier.”

Under Ms Patel’s proposals, the Home Office could boot out the likes of Qari Abdul Rauf, 51, who was jailed in 2012 for six years for his part in a grooming gang.

At least one of them renounced his Pakistani citizenship during his trial, it is understood.

The source added: “They are good at playing the game, which has added to the complexity.”

Some of those convicted are still in the UK and back in their old stomping ground around Rochdale and Oldham — despite deportation orders in 2015. Girl A, the main victim of the Rochdale grooming gang, said it was a disgrace after Rauf was pictured shopping in the town.

Now 28, she said every day she risks “bumping into them”.

Under the new plans, convicted criminals facing deportation would need to state their case upfront in one go, with the offender having to prove their circumstances have changed.
