A Tory MP has raised concerns that online pornography is inspiring children to identify as transgender. The long-awaited guidance for teachers on how to support gender-variant children was supposed to be published in July but was withdrawn at the last minute. Draft guidance revealed by Trending In The News indicated that children would only be able to change their gender at school with parental permission and would be barred from participating in competitive sports.
