Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer sells family’s donkey sanctuary for £400,000

SIR Keir Starmer has sold his family’s donkey sanctuary for around £400,000.

The Labour leader bought the seven-acre plot in Surrey for his parents in the 1990s.

They used it to look after neglected donkeys.

But Sir Keir lost his mum Josephine in 2015 following a long battle with Still’s disease, a rare form of arthritis.

His dad Rodney died in 2018.

Sir Keir was rapped by the Parliamentary standards watchdog in 2021 for not declaring the land correctly.

He put it on the market last year.
