SPORTS fans should “do a Bairstow” and take out eco-protesters, the policing minister has said.
Chris Philp’s comments came as eco-zealots vowed to carry on causing chaos.

Cricketer Jonny Bairstow carried off a Just Stop Oil climate protester who tried to stop play during the second Ashes test at Lord’s last week.
And Mr Philp said it would be completely reasonable for ordinary people to do the same.
He said the eco-group’s radical action, which has also included protests at Wimbledon, were “not legitimate”.
He told Times Radio: ”I think it’s reasonable for people to try and protect the event they’re watching. Obviously, nobody should do anything dangerous or hurt anyone.”
Meanwhile, Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer said he “can’t wait” for Just Stop Oil to end their antics.
He said they were “riddled with arrogance” by forcing their opinions on people and ruining sport.
It came as Just Stop Oil donor Dale Vince — who has also donated to the Labour Party — vowed that the eco mob would carry on their disruption at high-profile events.
