Alongside the meet-and-greet pictures taken at Port Lympne wildlife reserve, Kent, she wrote: “Dreams do come true.”
An image posted on Instagram also showed daughter Romy looking on at giraffes and a rhinoceros at the safari park accompanied by the caption “Magic” along with a heart emoji.
Carrie, 34, was appointed as head of communications for the Aspinall Foundation which runs it.
The family are set to formally leave Downing Street next Tuesday when Boris Johnson departs as PM.
