Nadine Dorries has thrown her weight behind calls for a lioness emoji
The lionesses were roared by the nation las night as they secured a place in their first major final in 13 YEARS.
England, who have lost their last three major semi-finals, ended their curse to continue the legacy they are leaving in this country.
Their prize is now a glittering clash at Wembley on Sunday against either Germany or France – who play at Stadium MK on Wednesday night.
But Twitter users are frustrated that England’s ladies haven’t got their own emoji.
Ali Donnelly of Sport England said: “I know this isn’t the most important thing in the world but it irrationally bothers me that there is no Lioness emoji!
“This guy’s getting far too much prominence
Is this fixable!?”
And this morning the Culture Secretary backed her calls, writing online: “Agreed! Proud to support the Three Lions
, but it’s time for a lioness emoji (after all, they are the chief hunters…)
“Come on @unicode, let’s get this done!”
