Boris Johnson's Loo Bugged After Visit from Israeli Leader, Book Reveals

Listening Device Discovered

A listening device was found in Boris Johnson’s loo just days after it was used by Israel's leader Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu. The bug was discovered during a security sweep, prompting questions about a potential spying plot. Johnson described the washroom as "a secret annex" in his new memoir, Unleashed.

Details from the Book

In his memoir, Johnson recounts how Netanyahu used his Foreign Office bathroom during a meeting in 2017. Johnson writes, "Thither Bibi repaired for a while, and it may or may not be a coincidence but I am told that later, when they were doing a regular sweep for bugs, they found a listening device in the thunderbox."

Response from Boris Johnson

When asked for more information about the incident, ex-PM Boris Johnson replied to The Telegraph, "I think everything you need to know about that episode is in the book." Johnson is set to discuss these revelations in an ITV interview tonight at 7pm.

Interview Mishap

A BBC interview with Johnson was cancelled after politics presenter Laura Kuenssberg accidentally sent him her briefing notes. Kuenssberg acknowledged the mistake, calling it "embarrassing" and "disappointing." She tweeted, "It’s very frustrating, and there’s no point pretending it’s anything other than embarrassing."

Book Release

Unleashed, Johnson's memoir, is scheduled to hit bookstores next Thursday.
