Boris Johnson blasted for ‘lying in his Downing Street sty and refusing to go’ by Piers Morgan on TalkTV

PIERS Morgan delivered a devastating takedown of the Prime Minister this evening as he accused Boris Johnson of lying in his “Downing Street sty refusing to go”.

The TalkTV host appeared holding a live piglet as he blasted the PM who has vowed to fight on despite a monster cabinet coup and calls for his head.

Amid a sensational day which has seen a whopping 39 resignations from the government, Piers listed off a roster of failings of “greasy piglet” Mr Johnson.

Addressing the PM on his Uncensored show, Piers asked what it would take for embattled Mr Johnson to “do the honourable thing and quit”.

He slammed: “Are there any circumstances you think you should give up your job and put the country before yourself?

“Tonight you lie in your Downing Street sty refusing to go – behaving like the very greasy piglet the Daily Mail put on its page last night.”

He went on to berate the PM as he reeled off a catalogue of errors such as lying to The Queen and allowing “181,000” Brits to die of Covid “on your watch”.

And he added how Mr Johnson “boasted about shaking hands” with hospitalised Covid patients as the virus ravaged Britain before slamming him for unlawfully suspending Parliament over Brexit.

Piers drove the knife further, ridiculing him for spending “£112,000” refurbishing the No.10 flat and lying who paid for it.

And he didn’t stop there as he delved further, pulling into question the PM’s support of disgraced Dominic Cummings who “brazenly” broke lockdown rules with his trip to Barnard Castle.

He added: “You refused to sack your friend Owen Paterson after he was caught lobbying for companies he worked for.

“You lied to Parliament about 18 illegal lockdown busting parties inside Downing Street.

“You yourself were fined by the police for attending one of those parties breaking the very lockdown laws you made.”

Mr Johnson’s confidence vote was also shot to shreds by Piers who accused him of having “squirmed your way through” despite “148 of your own MPs demanded you go”.

Drawing on grope scandal Tory MP Chris Pincher, Piers added: “Then you lied about appointing a man accused of sexual assault to serve in your government.”

Piers finally slammed the PM for his “story” of “cheap, creep, cave, repeat” as he hammered the final nail in his monologue of the PM.

He finished: “This little piglet may finally be running out of grease.”

The comments come as Mr Johnson clings to power amid a second torrid day after the PM admitted he had “forgotten” a warning over grope-scandal Tory MP Chris Pincher.

Sensational walkouts from Chancellor Rishi Sunak and Health Secretary Sajid Javid on Tuesday, and scores from lower government ranks on Wednesday, sent the PMs premiership into a death spiral.

Refusing to step down, the Prime Minister stared down the Quit Squad of top Ministers who told him to the game was up and he should go.

In an assassination attempt with echoes of Thatcher’s removal, Cabinet members saw him individually to demand his resignation.

He is expected to carry out a reshuffle tonight as other Cabinet Ministers are expected to desert his battered administration.

Michael Gove, Housing and Levelling Up Secretary, was the first to be sacked from his job on Wednesday night.
