YOU can bag four free games for the new Xbox Series X – as well as previous-gen consoles too.

The titles are available through Microsoft’s Games with Gold programme, which is getting a brand new selection of free games for April 2021.

What is Xbox Games with Gold?

Games With Gold is Microsoft’s answer to the free games you get with Sony’s PlayStation Plus.

You can get the free games on Xbox if you subscribe to Xbox Live Gold – something that’s required for online play.

Then, each month you receive four free games, two on the latest console and two for the previous generation.

Xbox Games with Gold April 2021 – the full list

There are four games as part of the April 2021 offering.

The first is Vikings: Wolves of Midgard, which is available from April 1 to April 30.

You join a “notorious band of Viking warriors” who are fighting fearsome beasts of Norse mythology.

Next up is Truck Racing Championship, on offer from April 16 to May 15.

You take control of enormous and powerful semi-trucks, with 45 vehicles and 14 circuits available.

Third on the list is Dark Void, up for grabs from April 1 to 15.

It’s a third-person shooter set in a world filled with hostile aliens.

Finally there’s Hard Corps: Uprising, a run-and-gun classic available from April 16 to 30.
