Xbox Game Pass Update: New Games Added and Some Return to Standard

Xbox Game Pass Update: New Games Added and Some Return to Standard

Xbox Game Pass Changes Explained

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate players can grab three new games this month as four games return to the Standard tier. The restructuring of the subscription service last year brought about changes, including a price increase at every tier and the replacement of Console with Standard, which doesn't include recent releases. Despite these changes, Xbox continues to add games back to the Standard tier every month.

New Games Added to Xbox Game Pass

This month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will have access to three new games. "Road 96" offers a hitchhiking adventure and is available on Cloud, Console, and PC. "EA Sports UFC 5" is available on Cloud and Xbox Series X|S for Ultimate subscribers, while "Diablo" is exclusive to PC for Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.

Games Coming or Returning to Standard Tier

Four games are making a comeback to the Standard tier this month. "Lightyear Frontier" is in early access and playable on Xbox Series X|S. "My Time at Sandrock," "Robin Hood: Sherwood Builders," and "Rolling Hills" were previously available on the Console tier but moved to Ultimate with the introduction of Standard. They have now returned to the middle subscription tier.
