A PORTAL has already opened up over the world of Fortnite, which can only mean one thing.
Fortnite will be changing once again in the upcoming release of Chapter 4 Season 2.
Fortnite’s Cryptic quests are ending.
The upcoming season will be based on a futuristic version of Japan that’s called Mega City.
It will also include the option of a first-person view for the first time.
Here’s everything we know about Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2’s release date.
When is Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 coming out?
Chapter 4 Season 2 will launch on Friday, March 10, 2023, but the servers will go down several hours before.
Fortnite will come back online several hours after the servers go down once the game has been updated.
Here is the time the servers will go down for each time zone:
Thursday, March 9, 2023
- 11pm PT (Western America)
Friday, March 10, 2023
- 2am ET (Eastern America)
- 7am GMT (UK)
- 8am CET (Central Europe)
- 4pm JST (Japan)
- 5pm AEST (Eastern Australia)
If your computer uses Windows 7 or 8, the update will be the first one that is not supported on these OS’.
From now on your computer will have to run Windows 10 or higher.
How long until Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2?
Once the servers go down, there will be several hours to wait before they come back online.
There is no specific time for this, but it usually takes around five to seven hours for the servers to be updated.
We estimate that Fortnite will be online at these times.
