What are Evolutions and how do they work?
Ultimate Team has introduced a new feature called Evolutions that allows players to improve their cards without having to pull high-rated ones. By using the Evolution system, you can upgrade your existing cards and transform average teammates into amazing ones. Not only do Evolutions boost your players, they also provide additional perks. Here's everything you need to know about Evolutions in EA FC 24.
How to use the Evolution system
The Evolution system involves three steps:
- Assign a player from your club to an Evolution for the desired skill
- Level up the player by completing challenges
- Claim your rewards to evolve your player
Completing Evolution objectives
The quality of the Evolution determines the number of challenges you must complete to earn rewards. Let's take a look at an example:
Founders Evolution: This Evolution allows you to level up a striker, but it's only available for those playing EA FC 24 in Early Access. For Level 1, you must complete two challenges and you'll be rewarded with +3 Pace and Shooting. The next level requires you to win two Squad Battles or Rival/Champions matches in at least Semi-Pro difficulty, which will give you +3 in Physical and Dribbling with an extra star for your Weak Foot.
Just like Squad Battles, there are other requirements you need to meet in order to evolve. These can be found in the Evolution menu. For Founders Evolution, the requirements are:
- Overall: Max. 83
- Physical: Max. 86
- Position: ST
- Dribbling: Max. 83
- Pace: Max. 91
- Rarity: Rare
- Overall: Min. 75
Upgrading multiple Evolution cards
You can have multiple Evolution cards active at once, but it's important to note that each challenge you complete will only count towards the first card you activated. Therefore, it's recommended to add one Evolution at a time in order to prioritize learning the desired skills. To check which Evolution challenge is currently active, you can visit the "My Evolutions" tab. This will ensure that you can select the correct player for your starting eleven in the upcoming match.
