Thankfully, the first game’s latest remake for the PS5, called The Last of Us Part 1, is getting a PC release soon, so more fans will be able to relive Joel and Ellie’s captivating story first-hand.

As with all recent PC ports of Sony games, fans should also expect even more improvements over the console version, better graphics and higher frame rates.

Is the Last of Us available on PC?
The Last of Us is not yet available for PC, but the game’s recent remake, The Last of Us Part 1, is set to release very soon.
A few months ago, developer Naughty Dog confirmed that The Last of Us is finally coming to PC, almost ten years after the game’s original release.
When is The Last of Us PC release date?
The Last of Us Part 1’s PC release date is now March 28, 2023, following a three-week delay from the original date.
Naughty Dog announced the delay in February, saying the team needed the additional few weeks to make sure the game is as polished as possible for its PC debut.
How to pre-order The Last of Us on PC?
The Last of Us Part 1 for PC is already available to pre-order via Steam and the Epic Games Store and is priced at £49.99.
Pre-ordering The Last of Us Part 1 now will grant you access to download and play the game as soon as it launches.
If you pre-order, you will get bonus Supplements and bonus Weapon Parts in-game.
Supplements are used to boost attributes such as your health, crafting speed, healing speed, and weapon sway.
Weapon Parts are used to upgrade weapons at workbenches.
The price and pre-order bonuses are the same on both PC storefronts, so you can buy from whichever you prefer.
What does The Last of Us Part 1 Deluxe Edition include?
A Last of Us Part 1 Deluxe Edition is also available to pre-order, and that would cost you an extra £10. The Deluxe Edition includes early unlock of some in-game items that will make your playthrough easier:
- Increased Crafting Speed Skill
- Increased Healing Speed Skill
- 9mm Reload Speed Increase Upgrade
- Rifle Clip Capacity Increase Upgrade
- Explosive Arrows Gameplay Modifier
- Dither Punk Filter
It also unlocks Speedrun Mode earlier, if you’re keen on timing yourself and beating time records as you play through the game’s levels.
Lastly, the deluxe version includes the following six weapon skins:
- Black Gold 9mm Pistol
- Silver Filigree 9mm Pistol
- Rubber Tactical Shotgun
- Sculpted Oak Shotgun
- Arctic White Bow
- Carbon Black Bow
Weapon skins are just cosmetic items, so they won’t make your guns more powerful, but they will look better in-game.
