THE suspected hacker behind a huge leak of GTA 6 footage has threatened to expose even more unless Rockstar negotiates with them.
Almost a hundred top secret videos of the upcoming game were released online over the weekend revealing loads we didn’t already know.
Suspected leaker says ‘I could leak more’
Rockstar Games owner Take-Two went on a mass takedown across YouTube and other sites, suggesting the leak must be real.
But this might be the beginning of their headache.
The person who claims to be behind the attack says they have more data and could leak it soon.
They’re boasting to have highly sensitive material including the source code for both GTA 5 and GTA 6, as well as assets and testing build for the new game.
Though it’s not clear what the alleged perpetrator wants from the firm, they wrote on a forum that they’re “looking to negotiate a deal”.
This may suggest they are looking to get ransom money out of Take-Two.
Separately, unverified screenshots have emerged from an alleged conversation someone had with the person responsible.
In it, they claim to have content from the cancelled Bully sequel.
“I have Bully 2 development plans for sale,” it reads.
“With very early development pictures. And videos.”
However, they may not get a chance to do anymore damage, as online rumours say the leaker may have been hacked themselves now.
According to The GTA Base: “I’m in talks with someone who has hacked the GTA 6 hacker.. they’ve gained access to teapotuberhackers proton mail account, and has possibly their full name.
“Wow. What a series of events…”
