Sonic Generations: A Tale of Two Hedgehogs

Sonic Generations: A Tale of Two Hedgehogs

A Disappointing Shadow Side Story

Sonic Generations is a beloved game for many, capturing the essence of the classic 2D Sonic games in a 3D world. However, the same cannot be said for Shadow's side story in Shadow Generations.

Missing the Mark

Unlike Sonic's mix of classic and modern levels, Shadow Generations only offers 'modern' levels with frustrating controls for Shadow. The lack of variety, challenge levels, and rewarding upgrades makes it fall short of its predecessor.

Underwhelming Gameplay

With limited levels, unpredictable controls, and underwhelming rewards, Shadow Generations fails to deliver the magic of the original Sonic game. The short storyline and lack of depth make it a disappointing addition to the Sonic universe.

Avoid this Release

If you're a fan of Sonic Generations, it's best to skip Shadow Generations and stick to the original. The changes made in the remaster, including the removal of beloved features like Sonic the Hedgehog levels, make it a lackluster experience.
