Saints Row wingsuit – How to fly around the open world from the beginning

USING a wingsuit in any game is one of life’s greatest pleasures, and Saints Row has provided us with more of this great travel option.

While you can unlock fast travel in Saints Row to get around the map, for those shorter journeys there is nothing more fun than popping on a wingsuit for a glide around.

Glide around the open world and perform aerial takedowns.

Our guide will let you know just how you can get your hands on your own, and begin your transition to flying squirrel.

This includes where to find it and how to equip it in order to head to the skies.

Where is the wingsuit in Saints Row?

Despite being one of the more useful items in the game, the wingsuit isn’t a late game item or one that you pick up in missions.

While on a particular mission, an NPC will tell you about it, but you actually have the wingsuit in your inventory from the get-go.

You are able to use the wingsuit as soon as you enter the game, though nothing in the tutorial will tell you about it.

How do I equip the wingsuit in Saints Row?

Not only do you start out owning the wingsuit in Saints Row but it already comes ready equipped.

Choose something suitably high to jump from and once you have dived off it, tap the jump button to open your suit.

You can change direction in the air with the direction buttons.

And just like when you’re in a car, you can come to a stop with the brake button.

As an added bonus, you can aim at enemies – with the aim button of course – and perform aerial takedowns.

If you time your landings right, you can land on cars for a nice soft fall, and then hop from car to car.

The wingsuit has a lot of fun ways which you can use it, so give it a try for yourself.
