ALAN Wake 2 was one of the most critically acclaimed games of last year, earning numerous accolades. It was nominated for eight awards and won three at gaming’s Oscars, The Game Awards, including a nomination for Game of the Year.

New Partnership Announcement

Developer Remedy Entertainment, known for popular games like Max Payne, Alan Wake, Quantum Break, and Control, has announced a partnership with publisher Annapurna Interactive to co-finance upcoming projects.

Control 2 and Beyond

The first project under this partnership is the sequel to Remedy’s 2019 hit, Control. The game will be titled Control 2 and promises to stay true to Remedy's vision. Additionally, the partnership aims to extend Remedy's IPs into TV and film adaptations.

Exciting Future Ahead

Remedy expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that it allows them to create Control 2 as they envision it while exploring opportunities in other mediums. Creative director Sam Lake emphasized the chance to expand the story of Alan Wake and the Remedy Connected Universe beyond games.
