PLAYSTATION 5 owners are just realising there’s an accessory that can ease the pain of having to type on their consoles.
Whether it’s a lively group chat or spelling out lengthy log-in details, it can be a right pain having to type with the PS5 controller toggles.
The PS5 accessory is currently available on Amazon for £19.49, reduced from £25.99
It’s one aspect of using a PlayStation console (and Xbox too) that users have always wrestled with – especially if you make a spelling error.

But there’s a controller keypad add-on that works, compatible with PS5s, that seeks to dispel those woes.
This wireless chat keyboard effortlessly snaps onto the game controller, so users can clip it on and off as they need.
It has a built-in speaker and 3.5mm audio Jack function.
Although some reviews say the speaker and headphone jack isn’t as good as those built into the PlayStation controller.
There’s no official alternative from Sony.

The clip-on keyboard from Auarte (on Amazon) is currently the lowest priced on the market, after a 25 per cent discount.
“It fits snug and it does make typing a lot easier. Overall I’m happy with my purchase,” one four star reviewer wrote on the digital marketplace.
Another wrote: “Connecting it to the console is almost instant and the battery holds a couple days.
“However, if you don’t switch it off while not in use, it will drain in a couple hours.
“Overall for the price, it’s a good buy, but when an original keyboard accessory will come out, I’ll switch to that.”
