Eye-watering Prices for Pokémon Luxury
Pokémon is no stranger to collaborations with high-end brands, but their latest partnership has left fans shocked with sky-high prices. The collection features nine pieces of jewellery, with the most expensive item costing a staggering ¥4.7million (£25k). Created by renowned jewellery designer Tiffany, this item is an 18ct gold Pikachu pendant adorned with diamond accents.
From Sterling Silver to Gold
For those looking for something slightly more affordable, the collection also includes sterling silver pendants featuring fan-favorite characters like Squirtle, Pikachu, Mew, Jigglypuff, Cubone, and Charmander. Each silver pendant comes with a hefty price tag of ¥211k (£1.2k). There is also a silver necklace showcasing all six characters, priced at ¥1.2million (£6.5k). If you're after the gold Pikachu pendant but at a lower cost, there is a smaller version available for ¥1.7million (£8k).
Exclusivity and Limited Availability
Tiffany's Pokémon collection is so exclusive that it will not be sold in stores. Interested buyers will need to register their interest and enter a lottery for a chance to purchase the items. If selected, they will have a limited timeframe to make their purchase before the pieces are offered to other customers. The collection is currently only available in Japan and North America, but fans in other countries can explore the possibility of purchasing and importing these exclusive items.
