New Cards and Features Leave Players Searching for Answers
Players of Pokémon TCG Pocket are scratching their heads over the latest Wonder Picks event, which introduced Bonus Picks and Chansey Picks without any explanation in the news channel.
What's New in the Event?
The event includes two new promo cards that are alternate versions of Genetic Apex cards. Bonus Picks offer Charmander or Squirtle cards from the Genetic Apex booster set, along with Hourglasses and Event Shop Tickets. However, the tickets cannot currently be used as there is no section in the shop for redemption.
Chansey Picks and Missions
Chansey Picks feature Charmander and Squirtle promo cards with new art, functioning the same as Genetic Apex cards. While the event usually includes reward missions and new shop items, these are not yet available. Missions typically involve completing a set number of Wonder Picks and collecting two promo cards of each type for Hourglasses and Event Shop Tickets.
What's Next?
The event is expected to run for two weeks, with display cosmetics in the first week and battle cosmetics in the second. Speculation suggests Blastoise will feature in the upcoming shop items due to the current Solo Battle event. Updates on the missing parts of the event are anticipated to be announced on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
