POKÉMON Scarlet and Violet had a troubled launch, with various bugs and performance issues dampening players’ enjoyment.
The team promised bug and performance changes would be on the horizon, and the second patch is on its way.
Cinderace is the current raid target.
Not only that, but the next seven-star raid has been revealed, as well as a special Valentine’s Day event.
Here’s everything that’s upcoming in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: What’s in the latest patch?
Update version 1.2.0 is on its way, and will launch at the end of February.
If you have your Switch set to auto-update, then the patch should install as soon as it’s released.
Those who aren’t connected will be able to update by clicking on the game and selecting to update.
Not much has been revealed about the patch, other than it will feature a number of bug fixes and “added functionality”.
It is believed that this will not fix performance issues like frame rate and lag, but rather add something new to the game.
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: What’s the next seven-star raid?
The next set of seven-star raids will take place from Friday, January 27, until Sunday, January 30, and again from Friday, February 10, until Sunday, February 13.
The raid target has not been released yet, but we know that it will be a Poison tera type.
Past raid targets have had a tera type that suits the design of the Pokémon, including Charizard with a Dragon tera type, and Cinderace with a Fighting tera type.
As these Pokémon are all starters, we think Greninja could be the target of the next big raid.
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: What’s the Valentine’s Day event?
Pokémon will hold a special Valentine’s Day raid event starting on Monday, February 13, and ending on Wednesday, February 15.
The raids will feature a Fairy tera type Tandemaus, and are likely to be three-star raids.
Tandemaus evolves into Maushold, which has a 1% chance of being a family of three.
These raids could be the perfect chance to try and grab your rare Maushold.
