POKÉMON Go kicked off its Halloween event last week, with a number of spooky beasts being added to the game.
Lots of new features are being added this week, and the Go Battle League is getting a fresh spooky makeover.
Costumed Pokémon will make a comeback.
Raids, Spotlight Hour, and available Pokémon will all see changes this week to fit the theme.
Read on to find out everything that’s being added to Pokémon Go October 24 to October 30.
Shuppet takes the spotlight in Spotlight Hour
This week Pokémon Go’s Spotlight Hour will take place on Tuesday, October 25 from 6pm local time.
Shuppet will be the main event this week, and a shiny version will be available as always.
Last week introduced Mega-Banette into the game, so this is the perfect chance to get enough candy to evolve your Shuppet.
As a bonus, you will gain double experience points for every Pokémon you evolve during this hour.
Giratina’s Altered Forme take over Raid Hour
This week’s Raid Hour will take place on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, from 6pm local time.
Xerneas has now left the gyms, and Giratina (Altered Forme) will be available in five-star raids at all gyms during this event.
Its shiny variant will also be available, so this is your best chance at picking up the shiny legend.
Shadow Force will be its charged move, which is new to the game.
Unfortunately, even if you catch Giratina here, it will change back to its Origin Forme the day after Raid Hour.
The second half of Pokémon Go’s Halloween Event 2022 starts
The second part of Pokémon Go’s Halloween Event will start on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 10am local time.
The second half of the event will bring new costumed Pokémon including Vulpix, Ninetales, Gengar, Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist.
Some of last year’s Halloween costumes will also be returning for Pikachu, Piplup and Drifblim.
Spooky Pokémon are more likely to show up as part of the event, including Sableye, Murkrow, Golett, Yamask, and Dusclops.
Go Battle League switches to Great League and Halloween Cup UL
Go Battle League will change on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 9pm in the UK.
For the third week, Great League will remain on the roster, while Halloween Cup changes to its Ultra League version.
Only the CP limit changes for this one, increasing from 1.5k to 2.5k.
Poison, Bug, Ghost, Dark, and Fairy-types are the only ones that can take part in this cup.
More information can be found on Pokémon Go’s official website.
