Chesnaught will have the Rock Tera-type.

This raid will feature Chesnaught, the final evolution of the Grass-type starter from Pokémon X & Y.

It will come with the Rock Tera-type making it a defensive powerhouse, and difficult to take down.

Like the other seven-star starters, Chesnaught will make two separate appearances.

It will first be available from Friday, May 12, 2023 until Sunday, May 14, 2023.

Chesnaught will also be available again the following weekend from Friday, May 19, 2023 until Sunday May 21, 2023.

It is known for its impressive defensive stats, and is the ninth starter to appear in raids.

Chesnaught is also the first starter from the Kalos region to appear, a less popular region in the Pokémon franchise.

So far, there have been raids for starters from every generation, except three and four, some of the series most popular.

Chesnaught is also the second starter to appear from generation six, following on from fan-favourite Greninja.

Delphox is the last starter that hasn’t appeared from the region, and is normally a Fire-/Psychic-type.

Scarlet and Violet recently featured all of the starters from the Hisui region, so it is possible that they will complete this set as well.

Seven-star tera raids have become increasingly more common, and are some of players’ favourite parts of the games.

Originally they only appeared once a month, but are now occurring every weekend.

As this is the only opportunity Pokémon Scarlet and Violet players have to catch these Pokémon, fans don’t want to miss out.

These raids can be very difficult so it also encourages people to team up with friends in order to take them down.
