Pokémon fans worldwide had an exciting Pokémon Day, with many players eagerly looking forward to upcoming games and events.
Return of Classic Pokémon
Whether you're a veteran player from the '90s era of Red and Blue or a newcomer who started on the Nintendo Switch, there are three quintessential Pokémon that hold a special place in every player's heart.
Many fans were first introduced to Pokémon through Generation 1 and its remakes, where they had to choose between Bulbasaur, Squirtle, or Charmander to start their journey.
Super Powerful Versions Unveiled
In an exciting development, the Pokémon Company has unveiled super powerful versions of each Kanto starter that will be making their appearance in the game.
Starting with Venusaur, seven-star Tera Raids featuring Venusaur, Blastoise, and Charizard will be taking place in Paldea.
Each Pokémon will be available for a week, giving all players a chance to catch them for themselves.

Here are the dates when you can encounter these powerful Pokémon in the Scarlet and Violet versions:
- Mighty Venusaur: Ground Tera type, available from Wednesday, February 28, 2024, until Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
- Mighty Blastoise: Steel Tera type, available from Wednesday, March 6, 2024, until Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
- Mighty Charizard: Dragon Tera type, available from Wednesday, March 13, 2024, until Sunday, March 17, 2024.

The Mighty Venusaur Tera Raids are already live, and trainers are actively attempting to catch this formidable Pokémon.
With powerful moves like Sunny Day and Growth at its disposal, Venusaur poses a tough challenge for players.
