PlayStation offers monthly free games to its subscription service players, and this month comes with a particularly exciting lineup. Subscribers of the cheapest tier, PlayStation Plus Essentials, can download and keep up to three games every month as long as they maintain their subscription.

Typically, these games are older or smaller titles, closer to ownership than renting from a library. However, in September, PS Plus Essentials members can grab three games, including a brand-new release. From September 3, players can get their hands on Harry Potter Quidditch Champions, coinciding with the game's launch on all platforms.

Alongside the wizarding sport game, subscribers can also download MLB: The Show 24, the latest installment in the baseball simulation series released earlier this year. Additionally, the highly praised horror 3D puzzle platformer, Little Nightmares 2, is available for free this month, receiving an 83 rating on Metacritic.

Harry Potter fans can delve into Quidditch as chasers, seekers, beaters, or keepers in both single and multiplayer modes. These PS Plus Essentials games are playable on both PS4 and PS5, offering players a chance to experience a range of genres and themes.
How to Access the Games
To claim these free games, subscribers can simply search for them in the PlayStation Store via their console starting September 3. A dedicated Monthly Games section on the PS Plus home screen also allows for easy access to this month's offerings.
