What's the Buzz About the Latest Star Wars Game?
Star Wars Outlaws has been creating a buzz in the gaming community with its excellent reviews and Ubisoft's fresh take on the beloved franchise. However, PlayStation players are facing a major setback due to a bug that could delete their save data.
PS Players Disappointed with Bug-Ridden Version
Compared to the PC and Xbox Series X|S releases, the PlayStation version of Star Wars Outlaws seems to be plagued with more bugs and issues. Ubisoft is actively working on patches to improve the game's performance, but players are still encountering problems.
Restart Required for Gold and Ultimate Edition Players
Players who splurged on the Gold or Ultimate Edition of the game, costing $40/£35 and $60/£50 more than the Standard version respectively, are being asked to restart their games on PS5, resulting in the loss of their save data. This move has understandably left many fans upset.
Ubisoft's Response and Compensation
To address the issue, Ubisoft is offering affected players in-game cosmetics as compensation. Players will receive a Trailblazer trinket for their ship or speeder, along with 100 Ubisoft Connect Units that can be used for rewards in Star Wars Outlaws or other Ubisoft games.
How to Claim Your Compensation
If you've been impacted by the bug, you can find the Trailblazer trinket in the same location where you access DLC. Make sure to check for updates and start a new save to fully enjoy the game as intended by the development team.
