Outbuddies DX

Nintendo’s NES days may be a thing of the past, but the newest Switch console still offers retro-style games for a dose of nostalgia. Outbuddies DX, released in 2020, takes players on a journey with a wounded adventurer and maritime archaeologist after a shipwreck, 36,000 feet under the sea. Set in a sunken city of the Old Gods, players must overcome challenging bosses to return home. The game is currently available for download in the Nintendo eShop for just 89p, down a whopping 94 per cent from its original price of £14.99 until 10 May.

Super Treasure Arena

Super Treasure Arena, released in 2018, offers retro-inspired arcade action and arena shooters for up to four players. With five playable characters, two game modes, and six fantasy-themed maps, players can team up to battle it out, kill monsters, and snatch loot. The game is currently priced at 89p, down 88 per cent from its original £7.99 price tag until 10 May.

Dungeonoid

Dungeonoid, released in 2020, is a nostalgic adventure that challenges players to explore the dangerous underbelly of the Internal Castle. With the mission of recovering sacred gems and defeating the Demon Master and his henchmen, players can enjoy 40 different game levels and classic RPG systems. The game is currently 85 per cent off in Nintendo’s eShop, priced at only 94p until 19 May.
