Nintendo recently announced the addition of a popular Nintendo 64 game to Nintendo Switch Online. Banjo-Tooie, the sequel to the iconic Banjo-Kazooie, will soon be available on the platform in widescreen format for the first time.

The N64 classic will be part of Nintendo's higher-tier subscription service, Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. This service includes over 100 additional games, with 35 of them being N64 titles like Banjo-Kazooie.
Gameplay and Release Date
Banjo-Tooie, originally released in 2000, features 3D platforming stages where players collect items while switching between the bear, Banjo, and the bird, Kazooie. Both characters have unique abilities that complement each other. The game is set to arrive on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass on Friday, October 25, 2024.
How to Access Banjo-Tooie
To play Banjo-Tooie on your Nintendo Switch, you'll need to subscribe to the higher tier of Nintendo's service. Once subscribed, download the N64 app from the Nintendo eShop to access the library of N64 games, including Banjo-Tooie.
