Nintendo Switch Online Adds Three New Games to SNES Catalogue

New Additions for Switch Online Members

Nintendo Switch Online members have reason to celebrate as three new games have been added to the subscription service recently. The latest additions include games in the SNES catalogue, with one title making its debut outside of Japan.

Meet the New Games

The three new additions to the Super Nintendo app for Switch Online subscribers are Sutte Hakkun, Fatal Fury 2, and Super Ninja Boy. Sutte Hakkun, a 1997 puzzle action game, was previously only available in Japan and has never been fully localized in English. Players control Hakkun, a glass drinking bird toy with unique abilities, as they navigate through levels to collect rainbow shards.

Fatal Fury 2, a classic 1992 fighting game from SNK, introduces new characters like Kim Kaphwan and the iconic Mai Shiranui. Lastly, Super Ninja Boy is a classic action RPG featuring an overworld, dungeons, and real-time combat.

Easy Access for Subscribers

All three games are now accessible to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers through the Super Nintendo Entertainment System app. Users can simply download the app from the eShop on their Nintendo Switch to start playing. It's worth noting that these games are available to members of both tiers of the service, without the need for the more expensive Expansion Pack tier.
