Jeremy Corbyn seen playing a Doom clone where you stop Margaret Thatcher from escaping hell

JEREMY Corbyn has been spotted at Liverpool’s The World Transformed, a festival for “radical politics, art and culture”, playing a game where you kill Margaret Thatcher.

The game, called Thatcher’s Techbase, is based on the popular FPS shooter, Doom 2.

In the Doom series, you play as the Doom guy, a man who travels through the circles of hell blowing up demons.

The poster for the game features a cybertronic, demonic Margaret Thatcher with devil horns coming out of her head, and a gun for an arm.

Thatcher’s Techbase was installed inside an arcade machine for the festival, but was first released in 2021 by developer 3D: Doom Daddy Digital.

It is available to play and download for free online as well.

A description of the game reads: “Warning! Subject M4GG-13 — Baroness Margaret Thatcher — is attempting to escape hell and return to the mortal plane!

“Only you can stop her!”

As reported by The Independent, you fight the demon Thatcher once you reach the tenth circle of hell, which turns out to be the United Kingdom.

While the game is controversial, it fits in with the radical politics which is at the core of the festival.

Former Labour leader, Jeremy Corbyn was seen at the festival that is being held to support Scotland’s tenants’ union Living Rent.

The charity aims to secure the future of tenants’ rights in Scotland, such as maintaining affordable rent and decreasing forced evictions.

While at the festival, Corbyn was photographed by the game’s director Jim Purvis, playing the game.

Corbyn posed for photos with the arcade cabinet which Purvis then shared on Twitter.

There are three photos on the account, two of him playing, and one of him posing with the cabinet.

Purvis also commented: “He liked the game” alongside the photos.
