FLYING is a big part of Hogwarts Legacy, and it is the fastest and most convenient way to explore the wizarding world.
Owning a broom and using it to fly has been a long-time dream for many Harry Potter fans.
There are three upgrades to collect.
However, if you buy and upgrade your broom correctly, you can get some impressive speed.
Here is how to get the best broom in Hogwarts Legacy and upgrade it.
Hogwarts Legacy: How to buy brooms?
Once you complete your first flying lesson, you can now use a broom to fly.
You can buy one from Spintwitches Sporting Goods in Hogsmeade, where you will find a choice of three.
Unfortunately, all the brooms are the same in terms of performance, so which one you choose is a matter of what looks the best to you.
However, if you upgrade your broom it will fly faster than any of these standard brooms.
Hogwarts Legacy: How to unlock more brooms
You can buy multiple brooms at a time from Spintwitches Sporting Goods, and the selection will improve as you progress through the story.
Other vendors and merchants can also sell brooms. Despite certain brooms being more expensive, they will still have the same stats.
There are also certain quests that will reward you with brooms, in case you need some more.
The last way to get more brooms is by completing Flying Challenges. These can be found in the Exploration section of the Challenges menu.
In these, you have to fly through balloons with your broom as you fly around Hogwarts.
Hogwarts Legacy: What’s the best broom?
Despite all of the various brooms that you can unlock, every single one of them starts out with the same stats.
Upgrades will allow you to improve any broom you like, so the best broom is whichever one you think looks the nicest.
Hogwarts Legacy: How to upgrade your broom
There are three upgrades that you can get for your broom, and they are given to you by the owner of Spintwitches Sporting Goods, Albie Weekes.
He offers you quests to test out his broom upgrades, and if you complete the challenge, you get to keep them.
These are simple ‘fly through loops’ challenges that work as tutorials for each new upgrade.
The side quests will unlock over the course of the main story, so check back with Albie when you can to see if he’s ready to give you the next one.
