GTA 5 is one of the most iconic video games of the past decade.
Although it came out in 2013, it’s received myriad updates – and still remains one of the best games you can buy today.
Now an “expanded and enhanced” version of both GTA 5 and its multiplayer counterpart GTA Online are launching for next-gen consoles on November 11.
However, PlayStation owners get an extra bonus.
GTA Online will be available as a standalone option to PS5 players for free for the first three months.
It’s an exclusive deal, and won’t be offered to Xbox Series X or Series S owners this time.
If you’re an Xbox gamer, you’ll instead need to pay for the full game to get access to GTA Online.
The new features being added to GTA 5 haven’t been revealed.
But it’s possible we may see graphical improvements, additional missions or storyline, or new in-game perks like bonus cars or weapons.
GTA 5 is the latest game in the Grand Theft Auto series, and follows a trio of criminals undertaking daring heists across the fictional state of San Andreas.
The game has a lengthy campaign, a large number of side missions, and a vast world to explore.
Better still, GTA 5 also includes Grand Theft Auto Online, a dedicated multiplayer mode set in the same open world.
GTA Online has become a cultural phenomenon, letting players explore San Andreas and take on new missions together.
