GAMERS have revealed a clever loophole that saves them a huge amount of money on PlayStation’s brand new PS Plus subscription service ahead of launch.
The trick allows PS4 and PS5 users to get access to the top tier PS Plus Premium for £49.99/$59.99 instead of £99.99/$119.99.
Sony recently announced that PS Plus and PS Now are being merged into one big gaming juggernaut, as it tries to take on Microsoft’s successful Xbox Game Pass.
The new offering is set to launch in June this year.
It’ll be split across three tiers, with the best of the bunch, PS Plus Premium, packing more than 740 games.
But savvy users spotted a loophole that allows them to get the Premium service for the same price as the cheapest Essential plan.

That’s because Sony promised existing PS Now subscribers that they’ll be transitioned to PS Plus Premium with no increase to their current subscription fees when the changes happen.
The thing is, an annual subscription for PS Now costs £49.99/$59.99 at the moment, meaning you can effectively buy it today to get PS Plus Premium at a bargain price.
Sony seems to have hid PS Now purchase links from its online store, but Twitter user Wario64 has revealed how it can be done.
First of all, you’ll need to be on a computer and logged into your PlayStation account via your web browser.
Then the following links to the PlayStation Store should work as long as they remain live – there is one for UK users and one for US users.
A box should appear on the righthand side saying ‘recurring subscription payment’ for PS Now.
